Participating in a Guinness book of world records effort that involved a water balloon toss, jelly bean sort, and a leap frog event, 10 fifth grade students from Village Upper Elementary School appeared on the Today show in New York on June 13.

The students include Nicole Campellone, Kerry McNeilly, Shannon O’Connor, Liza Keller, Alyssa Gilman, Mark Burke, Ben Schenkman, Michael Davila, Graham Harter, and Kevin Brown. Gilman and Brown set a world record for the water balloon toss at 30 feet. The children were accompanied by their parents and grandparents.
