Pritha Dasgupta and Nathan Ogden were married on November 29 at the Palace in Somerset. The officiant was Keshab Chatterjee, a resident of Plainsboro. The Sangeet ceremony was held at the Windsor Athletic Center on November 27.

The couple met at Grover Middle School in eighth grade and began dating during their sophomore year at High School South. “We did not have any shared activities, but we did have quite a few classes together,” says Dasgupta. They both graduated in 2009.

Dasgupta worked as a high school intern for the WW-P News and graduated with a degree in economics from Princeton University in 2013. She is a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in Los Angeles. Her parents are Atreyee and Bhaskar DasGupta of Plainsboro.

Ogden graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in physics in 2013. He is pursuing a PhD in materials science at University of California, Santa Barbara, and will do his qualification exam in January. His parents, Angela and Thomas Ogden, live in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

“All of my family is in India, but my maternal uncle did fly in from Calcutta,” says Dasgupta. Most of the wedding guests were residents of West Windsor and Plainsboro, but more than 20 of Ogden’s relatives flew to New Jersey.

The couple lives in Thousand Oaks, California. They will honeymoon in India and New Zealand in January.
