Voters in Plainsboro nominated Mayor Peter Cantu and Committeeman Nuran Nabiin the June 3 primary for the two seats on the committee. Both ran unopposed.##M:[more]##
Cantu, who is seeking his 12th consecutive term on the committee, received 414 votes, and Nabi, who was appointed by the Township Committee to fill a vacant seat and is seeking election to run for the rest of the term until December 31, 2009, received 411.
No Republicans filed to run in the primary.
