Nova Jimenez as the Little Blue Engine and Jenn Kelly as the Little Red Engine in ArtsPower presentation of “The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle,” set for MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre on Jan. 26 at 2 and 4 p.m.

ArtsPower is set to present The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle at Kelsey Theatre Jan. 26.

The performances are scheduled for 2 and 4 p.m at Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Kelsey Theatre said the musical is about the trains at Piney Vale Train Station. The station is run by Silver Engine, who has no confidence in smaller train Little Blue. When one train hurts her wheel it is time for Little Blue to prove herself.

Kelsey Theatre said the musical is based on the book my Watty Piper.

Kelsey Theatre said ArtsPower was founded by twins Mark and Gary Blackman in 1985. Based in Verona, it is the second largest company in the country to provide Equity theatre for family audiences.

Tickets are set to be $10.
