St. Francis Medical Center launched an iPhone application.

The medical center said they are the first hospital in the state of New Jersey to launch its own iPhone app.

They said the app’s function is to assist people visiting the hospital.

The app is free on iTunes and is available for iPhone and iPad.

The app features directions to the hospital, a internal hospital map and directory of the building. App users can access visiting hours, gift shop information, parking details and the latest news releases from the hospital.

Users can also search through hospital physicians to find one that suits their needs.

St. Francis Medical Center president and CEO Jerry Jablonowski said the app will revolutionize the visitors experience.

“Having a better understanding of where to park and where to go inside the hospital provides a better visiting experience, saves time and is ultimately more convenient,” Jablonowski said.

The hospital said to find the app search for “St Francis Medical Center” in on iPhone’s App Store.
