Under the direction of guidance counselor Lisa Valeriani, the Millstone River Student Human Relations Committee organized and facilitated a collection of spare change for a well in a remote village in India. It began earlier this year, when the committee, composed of students, voted on its community service activity. Students in grades four and five collected $1,”328 that was donated to www.drinkingwaterforindia.org.
