Donna Clovis is the exchange coordinator for High School North’s program with Kandinsky College in the Netherlands. A language arts teacher, Clovis will attend classes in The Netherlands in spring, 2008, after students from Kandinsky College visit her classroom.##M:[more]##

The project is funded by the Fulbright Center in the Netherlands in an effort to increase understanding between students in the two countries. The nonprofit organization supports mutual understanding through educational exchange.

The program, named after former U.S. Senator J. William Fulbright who introduced legislation in 1945 to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange, is administered in more than 130 countries, with an annual budget of $130 million.
