Robbinsville United U15 Select soccer team won three of four games in the Sunburst Tournament May 31 and June 1.

On May 31, the team won their first game against the Princeton SA Dynamo 3-0, and then their second game against the Yardley Makefield Soccer Rapids 5-2. The next day they defeated RYSA Wildcats 1-0 to take the top position in their bracket.

The team lost their final game, for the championship, against Next Level Arsenal 0-2.

The United played a high pressure defense, with strong tackling and then offensively controlling the ball with precise passing, attacking wide and scoring off centering passes. They came away with two shutouts and a goal differential of nine for and four against.

Robbinsville United are a tournament team; this summer they are set to participate in the Rider Cup June 21 and 22, the Central Jersey Invitational July 19 and 20, and the MSSL 2014 Summer College Showcase July 26 and 27.

The team is looking for additional full time and guest players. If interested, email joeneck@optonline.net.
