PSO to present Viva Verdi concert

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra and music director Rossen Milanov pay tribute to composer Giuseppe Verdi with excerpts from La Traviata, Il Trovatore and Aida on Sunday, May 17.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) is set to present the Viva Verdi! concert on Sunday, May 17 starting at 4 p.m. The event will take place in Princeton’s Richardson Auditorium.

Viva Verdi! is an opera extravaganza featuring excerpts from Giuseppe Verdi’s most popular works and spotlighting gifted young opera stars Michelle Johnson, soprano; Margaret Lattimore, mezzo; Zach Borichevsky, tenor; and Hugh Russell, baritone.

Select members of the Princeton High School Choir will join in on the Aida finale, bringing their own season to a close, which included performing with the orchestra at the annual PSO Holiday POPS! concert in December. The PSO values its ongoing partnership with this fine choir which is under the direction of Vincent Metallo.
