Trudy Glucksberg’s Moonrise Over Manset is set to be on display at the Arts Council of Princeton.
The Arts Council of Princeton, Princeton Public Library and Historical Society of Princeton are set to participate in a region-wide art exhibition.
All three are set to display work in conjunction with Concentric Circles of Influence: The Birth of Artists’ Communities in Central New Jersey. The series includes exhibitions, film screenings, gallery talks and panel discussions that focus on art communities that developed in central New Jersey beginning in the late 1930s.
The Arts Council of Princeton is set to present Concentric Circles of Influence: The Queenston Press, Contemporary Works. The exhibition is scheduled to run from Jan. 18 to March 8.
Artists participating in ACP’s exhibition are Judith K. Brodsky, Margaret Johnson, Marie Sturken, Trudy Glucksberg, Joan Needham, Helen Schwartz, Linda White, Yvonne Burk and Lonnie Sue Johnson.
ACP will also present an artist panel discussion with moderator Anne Swartz 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6. A screening of a film by Ilene Dube, The Birth of an Art Community, is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 6. Both events will take place in the Paul Robeson Center’s Solley Theater.
Princeton Public Library is set to display Concentric Circles of Influence: The Queenston Press, The Woman Portfolio from Jan. 8 to April 15.
The Historical Society of Princeton is set to present Concentric Circles of Influence: The Queenston Press, Bicentennial Portfolio at Bainbridge House and The Queenston Press, Ten Crucial Days Portfolio at Updike Farmstead. Both on view Jan. 18 to July 13.
Concurrent receptions are scheduled to take place on Jan. 18.
Exhibitions will also be presented at the New Jersey State Museum, Bernstein Gallery at Princeton University, and the Gallery at Mercer County Community College.
