Alex Rohrbach, a Grover Middle School student, and Jake Slonaker, a Community Middle School student were named to the 2007 Pop Warner 8th Grade Eastern Regional Scholar Team. They were honored at the Eastern Region Scholar Awards Banquet in Woodcliff Lakes, in March.##M:[more]##
The honor is bestowed upon the top 35 football players and top 25 cheerleaders in each grade from the Eastern region including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
More than 50,”000 participated in Pop Warner’s Eastern Region, and they were selected based on grades and other activities they are involved in. The 60 names are then submitted to National Headquarters for Pop Warner All American Scholar Athlete awards.
