High School South’s Future Business Leaders of America team had three members place in the regional competition: Mike Weintraub, a senior, took first place in word processing II. Ronak Patel, a junior, took first place in technology concepts; and Arshab Sarda, a senior, took third place in Java programming.##M:[more]##
These members, in addition to seniors Abhishek Saksena, Harsh Mishra, and Greg Sanchez, qualified for the New Jersey State competition in Edison on March 13 and 14. While all members performed excellently, Abhishek Saksena, also the current president of South’s FBLA team, stood out by placing second in spreadsheet applications and thus qualifying for the FBLA National Leadership Conference to be held in Chicago from June 28 to July 1. The club advisor is Lisa Savas.
