New businesses at the renovated Windsor Plaza will officially be opening in December of this year. Rachel Cyzner of Cyzner Properties, which owns the strip mall, spoke about new tenants coming to West Windsor’s hub, and dining options in particular.
With signage already posted, PJ’s Pancake House, the longtime institution on Nassau Street in Princeton, will take up a prime spot at the mall’s prominent corner. Cyzner said that PJ’s is currently completing its architectural drawings for the restaurant’s interior. PJ’s second location will feature four to five tables for outdoor dining, which will surround a centerpiece fountain — one of three fountains to be placed in Windsor Plaza.
Inside the new PJ’s will be slightly larger than its Nassau Street location, Cyzner said. She added that PJ’s has created a new Facebook page for its West Windsor location. On Tuesday, October 16, PJ’s posted news that its breakfast buffet at the new location will start at 5 a.m. daily to accommodate train station commuters.
Next to PJ’s in the front will be Jake’s Wayback Burger (WW-P News, April 13). The third store in from the left side will be Fill Yo Cup frozen yogurt. Cyzner says the place is not part of a franchise, but instead independent owners starting a place for self-service frozen yogurt. She said the new tenants, who live in Monroe, previously owned an ice cream shop.
Next to Fill Yo Cup, space is still available next to the Bagel Hole (on its left). Cyzner says one possibility there is a type of a fitness studio.
Around the back there will be a yoga studio and Mark Harris’ Liberty Martial Arts Center (WW-P News, November 18, 2011). Windsor Plaza’s rear side will also feature a JEI learning center, which Cyzner says is comparable to Kumon.
Another new tenant Cyzner mentioned will be Art & Frame Source, which is currently located in MarketFair.
Cyzner Properties also will welcome participation from residents by holding a contest in conjunction with the West Windsor Arts Council for a local artist to paint four large, rectangular dumpster doors around the back of the property.
