Parvesse, who has held the position with the township for the past 14 years, will be heading to Lawrence Township beginning Monday, December 10. When asked why he decided to leave, he said “it’s just furthering my career.”

“It’s been terrific here in West Windsor, and I’ve gained a lot of valuable experience,” he said. “I appreciate the time I had to work with the township and mayor, and with (Business Administrator) Chris (Marion).”

Marion said he thought Parvesse was one of the best engineers he’s worked with and is sad to see him go. “I really believe there’s big shoes to fill.” Marion said the short term plan is to appoint an engineering firm while the township seeks an in-house replacement.
