Old Barracks to host molten iron pour

The Old Barracks Museum is set to host Trenton’s arts collective AbOminOg Intl. as they pour medallions to commemorate New Jersey’s 350th anniversary from June 21 to June 22.

The grounds of the museum will open at 7 p.m. and the iron pour will begin at dusk on Saturday.

Limited edition medallions can be reserved ahead of time and will become available for purchase on Sunday.

AbOminOg Intl.’s outdoor molten iron pour will run concurrently with Art All Night.

Additionally, AbOminOg Intl’s exhibition entitled Founding the Future: A Continuum of Iron Casting in Trenton with AbOminOg Int. Arts Collective is on view in the Old Barracks garden until October 31.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Old Barracks Museum is located at 101 Barracks Street, Trenton.
