Andrew Zutty of West Windsor recently recorded a Sponge Bob voice over for a Nickelodeon back-to-school commercial. Airing was scheduled for early August. He also completed a series of tapes for McGraw Hill for Kids and will do a second series of recorded nursery rhymes and chants.

His mother, Jill Zutty, has had her CD “I Am Me” on the charts in Australia for more than nine weeks straight. She is working on a CD compilation for Discover Girls to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Alex Kontorovich, West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1998, traveled through Europe this summer. He performed with Aaron Alexander’s Midrash Mish Mosh in Krakow, Poland, and Vienna, Austria; Frank London’s Klezmer Brass All-Stars in Krakow and Zabrze, Poland, and Verona and Genoa, Italy; and with Nikitov in Bad Zwischenahn and Berlin, Germany, and Ruulo, Netherlands. He is a graduate student in mathematics at Columbia.

Kierstin Gray, also a West-Windsor Plainsboro High School graduate, performed in Europe and in Detroit and is now back in the tri-state area. She recently performed at Taaffe Lofts, Brooklyn, and at 5 Myles Gallery, Manhattan. She can be heard and seen at the Second Sunday Concert Series at Mugshots Coffeehouse, 2100 Fairmount Ave, Philadelphia, on Sunday, September 11, at 6 p.m.

Kristin Ranke and Kellie Palermo of West Windsor were part of The Company, the professionally trained group from the Professional Center of the Arts entertaining aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Grandeur of the Sea. From July 3 to 8 the dance troupe was the main attraction for the passengers. They were selected to perform after a representative of the liner’s company saw a tape of them performing at Great Adventure.

Kristin, 16, and Kellie, 15, are both students at Notre Dame High School and have danced with the company for two years. In addition to their 12 hours of classes each week, they were taken into New York City to study with dancers at Steps, Broadway Dance Center, and Dance Space. They also work in the teen nightclub, Club Arts, assist younger dance students, do office work, and help keep the studios clean.

The group studies dance, voice, and acting. Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 31, at 6 p.m. Visit www.professionalcenterforthearts.com or call 609-586-3008 for information.
