MCCC Horticulture Program and the New Jersey Department of Agriculture are partnering to host the expo, scheduled for March 14 to 16.

More than 500 high school students from 30 schools are set to participate, including representatives of the Future Farmers of America Student Leadership Organization. Students come from schools that offer horticulture and agriculture programs.

Students are set to create displays for 30 categories, including a live floral design competition on Friday morning. Other categories include house plants, terrariums, dish gardens and themed floral arrangements such as wedding and congratulatory bouquets.

Judging of all entries is set to take place on March 14. The prizes will include Best in Division and Best in Show.

Suggested viewing hours for the public are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 15 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16. Exhibits will be displayed on the second floor Skywalk, surrounding the quad on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
