Princeton’s Littlebrook School is the recipient of a generous collection of books centered on Positive Psychology and Positive Education that will be available to all staff as part of the school’s professional learning library. The books were presented by PPS Wellness consultant Katie Curran in recognition of the school winning the “What’s Right?” challenge, the first of a number of district-wide activities aimed at supporting staff wellness and promoting positive emotions, mindfulness and gratitude.

Curran, who holds a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, announced the winner at a Positive Emotions professional development day attended by staff from throughout the district earlier in the school year. One of the five goals of the district’s Strategic Plan, which was launched this year, is to implement policies and practices that promote wellness and balance for students and staff.
