Master Steven Phillips, owner of the West Windsor Tae Kwon Do & Kickboxing Academy, was featured in the main event at the Professional Kickboxing Federation’s Oriental World of Combat, held at Club Abyss in Sayerville on June 14.##M:[more]##

The fight pitted Phillips, a fourth degree black belt, against Darryl Dixon, holder of the World Professional Kickboxing Organization Light Heavy Weight title. At the end of the five-round match Phillips was declared the winner by unanimous decision, and received the titles World Professional Kickboxing Organization (WPKO) World Light Heavy Weight Champion and World Kickboxing Union (WKU) World Light Heavy Weight Champion

Phillips already holds the Professional Kickboxing Federation (PKF) World Light Heavy Weight Championship Title and the PKF New Jersey Light Heavy Weight Championship Title.

Phillips, the headmaster of the West Windsor academy, personally supervises all Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.
