Three High School North seniors received community service awards from HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro.##M:[more]##

Timothy Steinhilber received a six-year community service and leadership award. He began volunteering in 2002, working with the vocational counselor, program director, and residential supervisor in an effort to begin a drug prevention program at the middle school level. Since then he has volunteered weekly, assisting individuals with traumatic brain injuries through recreational and social settings.

Jack Mulhall received an award for four years of service. He began volunteering and assisting individuals with traumatic brain injuries in a recreational and social setting in 2004. He not only continues to volunteer every week throughout the year, but also assists with holiday gift giving and serving meals.

Connor Byrnes also received a four-year award. He volunteers weekly by assisting individuals with traumatic brain injuries through recreational and social activities. Byrnes received special recognition from the speech therapist and physical therapists for his assistance during several open houses, when he demonstrated skills on the interactive metronome and helped make pediatric patients more comfortable in a clinical setting.
