Repairs at the Grovers Mill Dam, off of Clarksville Road near Cranbury Road in West Windsor, were expected to get underway early this month, weather permitting. The work will provide for:

Installation of concrete-filled bags at the downstream end of the spillway concrete apron; grouting beneath the concrete apron at this same location; and repairs to the concrete facing of the upstream spillway structure wall faces. The work will require the Township to maintain a lowered water level in the Grovers Mill Pond reservoir for the duration of the project, in accordance with the approved State Water Lowering Permit.

The construction is expected to last about 30 days. The majority of the work will be performed off road. However, as part of the staging of equipment and/or materials, traffic on Clarksville Road may incur minor delays or diversions daily, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. No road closures are required for this work.
