Students from Community and Grover middle schools visited the Special Collections and Archive at Alexander Library at Rutgers University. These students were doing primary research as part of the National History Day and Inquiry Project.

The students worked with reference librarians to research topics and access Rutgers’ collections. The students read through rare first editions published in the 1700s and 1800s.

Debra Cohen from Grover Middle School, and Rebecca McLelland-Crawley from Community Middle School, are the PRISM teachers who accompanied the students.
