The West Windsor Republican Club has scheduled a presentation at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, on New Jersey’s affordable housing policies and their impact on local municipalities. The presentation will take at the main council meeting room at the municipal building.

Shirley Bishop, former Executive Director of the state Council on Affordable Housing (COAH), will review the history and explain the rationale for the specific requirements in each municipality.

Bishop, a licensed NJ Professional Planner, will describe regional contribution agreements (RCAs), fair share plans, development fee ordinances, and how municipal housing plans are certified.

The even is free. Seating capacity is limited to the first 100 attendees. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
