The Friends of West Windsor Open Space (FOWWOS) will be holding its annual meeting on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Room B at the municipal building.

There are three Trustee incumbents up for re-election, and all members who have paid their dues are eligible to vote. Past and future activities will be discussed, and the latest updates presented.

In other news, Helen Rancan has resigned as president of FOWWOS, effective at the end of the month because of her job responsibilities. Alison Miller is the new president of FOWWOS; Bob Murray is the first vice president.

The West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance (WWBPA) will hold its annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 12 in Room A of the municipal building. The meeting is open to the public.

During the meeting, the alliance will be reviewing accomplishments for 2008, seek input from its membership on goals, encourage volunteers to sign up for committees and elect trustees. Community service awards will also be presented to individuals who have provided specific services to benefit the organization and the community, and the board will appoint four high school students to its Student Advisory Board.
