Jake Gurock of West Windsor finished third at the Trusted Choice Big ‘I’ Junior Golf State Championships on July 7. The 36-hole stroke play tournament was held at Old York Country Club in Chesterfield.
Fourty-nine junior golfers competed, and the top five finishers, including Gurock, qualified for the National Junior Golf Championship in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The 2014 South graduate will compete in the 72-hole stroke play tournament on Tuesday, August 5.
