Girl Scouts from WW-P celebrated Thinking Day at High School South on February 22. This annual international fair was attended by more than 1,000 Girl Scouts and their families. Each troop represents a country. The girls dress in costume, sell food, and run a game or craft.
“You could buy a mango lassi from India, dumplings from Hong Kong, apple strudel from Austria, or a crepe from France,” says Louisa Ho, one of the coordinators. “Girls could get a henna tattoo from India, buy a flowered hairpin from Aruba, or make sand art at Barbados. And you could even try driving a robot made by WAGS, a Girl Scout high school robotics team.”
