Trenton Downtowner editor and writer Dan Aubrey presents “Get Your Event and Story in Print,” a public relations workshop for artists, on Saturday, March 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the Trenton Free Public Library on Academy Street.

The free program will include tips on how to get newspaper and broadcast media coverage and freelance writing.

In addition to his current work, Aubrey was an arts writer for the Times of Trenton, director of communication for the New Jersey State Teen Arts Program and New Jersey State Museum and the press coordinator for several special New Jersey State Council on the Arts Projects, including the New Jersey Urban Park Design Competition and an exhibition on the New Jersey September 11 Memorial.

The workshop is part of the Trenton Artists Workshop Association’s occasional programs designed to share ideas and practices with regional artists.

The workshop is free, but participants are asked to register by e-mail at tawaexhibits@aol.com.

The Trenton Free Public Library is located at 120 Academy Street. For more information on the library, call 609-392-7188.
