Fire at Water Works

A fire on the Fourth of July temporarily shut down Water Works at West Windsor Community Park. The pool and water park were closed by the time the fire was discovered at 7:06 p.m.##M:[more]##

According to police, the last worker left the site at 6:22 p.m. Smoke from the fire was discovered by maintenance supervisor Jack King when he was shutting the nearby skate park. The fire was contained to the management office.

Both Princeton Junction and West Windsor fire departments arrived to put out the fire. The building sustained extensive damage, and many files were destroyed.

The pool re-opened on July 5, after being closed in the morning. Police have made no arrests. The case is under investigation. Police urge anyone with information to call Detective Steve Skwierawski at 609-799-1222.
