Fermi Federation awards scholarship to TCA student

The Fermi Federation awarded its annual $500 scholarship to Trenton Catholic Academy senior Michael Del Valle who plans to attend St. John’s University in New York in the fall.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Fermi Federation has awarded a $500 scholarship to a graduating Trenton Catholic Academy senior. Michael Del Valle was this year’s recipient and will use the scholarship toward furthering his education at St. John’s University, NY where he will begin studies in the fall of 2015.

The Fermi Federation is a Trenton based, Italian-American Civic Association founded in 1965. Scholarship criteria stipulate that students must be of Italian descent, show academic achievement, be active participants in school and/or community activities, submit an essay and attend a two or four year college.
