Caitlin L. Aviss and Gavin B. McLaughlin are planning a June wedding. She is the daughter of Eileen Aviss Spedding of Pennington and Dr. Julian Aviss of Sussex, England. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and Douglass College, she received a juris doctorate from Widener University School of Law. She works for the State of New Jersey, Division of Law, as a deputy attorney general.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Harry and Dolores McLaughlin of Cherry Hill. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Preparatory High School and Loyola College and received a master’s degree from Villanova University. He works for Evergreen Private Asset Management in Philadelphia as a lead portfolio manager.
