Andor Carius is a conceptual performance artist, multimedia and computer graphics artist, writer and musician with a background in philosophy of science and sociology. His work on the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab and its Fusion Test Reactors was broadcast in Europe, Australia and the U.S. From diagnostic images of Fusion reactions at PPPL and Particle Collision Images at CERN he produced large prints as image transformations of “visual abductions” into two stages of cosmic creativity.

He has also conducted planetarium performance events on time and cosmology, in which video images of musical performers or members of the audience were projected onto the night sky of the planetarium dome, while images of cosmic evolution, “From Big Bang to Here and Now,” were displayed on the dome via rear projectors and blended with the images of people in the sky.
