Battlefield Society to hold program on the Battle of Princeton

The Princeton Battlefield Society will hold an event focusing on the Battle of Princeton on April 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will include demonstrations with muskets, cannon, tactical formations and drills, and marching, loading and firing volleys.

Attendees will also be able to see a typical American Revolution military camp with campfire and the cooking and other domestic activities of camp followers as well as a duel with pistols between two officers.

There will be presentations about the Battle of Princeton and Washington’s strategy and explaining the uniforms, weapons and tactics.

The event will take place at the Princeton Battlefield located at 500 Mercer Street, Princeton.
