St. Francis Medical Center is set to host its 51st annual Spring Gala.

This year’s theme is Keep Calm and Be Well. The gala is the primary fundraiser for the SFMC Foundation, which supports the hospital financially.

The SFMC Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 entity that is governed by a board of trustees comprised of local community leaders, business leaders and religious leaders who value St. Francis Medical Center’s commitment to being a transforming, healing presence in the community. The Foundation was established in 1992 and actively supports SFMC with fundraising opportunities and events.

Last year’s gala had nearly 400 people in attendance and raised over $160,000. SFMC is expecting an even larger outcome for this year’s event. Attendees can look forward to a silent auction, a basket raffle and a 50/50 with a large cash prize.

Bishop David M. O’Connell and Bishop Emeritus John M. Smith are the Honorary Chairmen for this year’s gala. The event is being co-chaired by Judy and Bob Rottkamp, Juliana and Wendell Pribila, Michelle and Bob Chiste and Dr. Masoud Rezvan.

During the gala, Anthony and Judith Persichilli will be honored with the prestigious Spirit of St. Francis Award.

The gala is scheduled for June 7 at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. It begins with cocktails at 6pm followed by a short program at 7:30 p.m. and dinner and dancing at 8pm.
