While West Windsor is undergoing the mediation process with regard to two objections filed against its third-round affordable housing plan, Plainsboro is on the way to adopting an ordinance as a formality to enforce its approved plan.

As reported in the News earlier this month, Plainsboro received state Council on Affordable Housing approval for its fair share plan, introduced the ordinance, and is scheduled to hold a public hearing and adoption on Wednesday, July 8.

“This memorializes that action in ordinance form,” said Mayor Peter Cantu. “This is just a formality to pass the necessary ordinance to pass with the COAH requirements.”
