High School South faculty member Don Gilpin advises a talented group of student actors in “Cucumber Phil,” a story of acceptance and understanding for fourth grade students. The play was written, directed, and performed by High School South students.##M:[more]##

With a grant from West Windsor-Plainsboro Education Foundation, the Pirate Players performed the play to elementary students to give them the keys to understand character education in a new way.

Students involved include Katy White, Rachel Lazarus, Caitlyn Wisser, Sarah Levi, Katrina Lee, Jenna Ketchmark, Max Ildari, Brooke Hardy, Max Marder, Joey Tedesco, Ethan Levi, Lucas Supinski, Tim Forester, and Chris Robinson.

Gilpin also had a reunion of past and present casts of Pirate Players’ “Bang Bang You’re Dead,” a play about violence in school. This is the eighth year for the production in the school district.
