A new convenience store is scheduled to open up along Route 526 in Robbinsville late this summer. QuickChek will begin pre-site work on its first store in Robbinsville on or about April 23, according to a statement from the township.

The QuickChek will be located on Route 526 adjacent to NorthStar VETS Animal Hospital. Construction, including the installation of eight fuel pumps, is expected to begin May 14 with an anticipated grand opening by Labor Day.

The New Jersey-based convenience store chain has nearly 150 stores in New Jersey and New York, according to its website.

The township’s statement said motorists should observe extreme caution regarding speed limits approaching the work zone near West Manor Way from the Route 526/Turnpike overpass headed south toward Allentown.
