WW Arts Council Surpasses Fundraising Goal

Editor’s Note: The letter below was sent to friends of the West Windsor Arts Council.

Your support makes all the difference. The goals for West Windsor Arts Council’s annual fund drive were the most ambitious yet, and with your support we met and exceeded those goals!

Again this year an anonymous donor issued a matching challenge in which every dollar you donated from March 1 through June 30 was matched up to $10,000. We made the match and then some, and we couldn’t have done it without you. The grand total of our 2014/2015 annual fund drive is currently at $43,823.

What makes the annual fund so important? These resources make your community vibrant and bring you the best in artistic programming. Serving over 14,000 community members annually, WWAC presents:

• An exciting schedule of changing art exhibitions

• A popular free summer music concert series

• Opportunities for artists and artisans to sell their work

• A wide variety of workshops and classes for learners of all ages

• Scholarships to break down barriers to arts education

• Free community events such as our Autumn Arts Afternoon

• Programs in other arts disciplines including dance, film, and more!

The future is bright at WWAC, with new leadership and a renewed commitment to offering a variety of high quality arts programming. This is all possible because of the support of our community.

Elane Gutterman

WWAC Board President
