United Way of Greater Mercer County is seeking volunteers to help families of college-bound students complete financial aid applications.

FAFSA Volunteer Information Open Houses are set for 12 to 1 p.m. Oct. 30 and 5 to 6 p.m. Nov. 15 at United Way, 150 Brunswick Pike, Suite 230, Lawrenceville.

These events are an opportunity to see how volunteers help a student on the path to higher education. Trainers, volunteers and United Way staff will be on site to answer questions.

Volunteers spend four to eight hours per week helping families apply for financial aid. Volunteers must participate in a train program, which are scheduled for December.
