Theater to Go presents Mamma Mia sing-along

Theater To Go is set to present a Mamma Mia! movie sing-along on Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. and Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. The event will take place at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theater, 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor.

The showing will be led by Theater To Go’s MC and the audience is invited to get into the spirit with costume and trivia contests. Audience members will also receive a goody bag full of interactive items to enjoy during the viewing of the film.

When a young bride-to-be secretly invites three strangers to her wedding in hopes of discovering which one is her long-lost dad, the plot quickly gets thick with misunderstandings and uncomfortable moments. This 2008 film version of the popular Broadway show, features Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried and Colin Firth.

The movie also features a soundtrack including many of ABBA’s biggest hits.

Theater To Go is known for audience participation murder mysteries and interactive comedy shows. More recently, the company has added movie sing-alongs that give fans a collective viewing experience, complete with participatory props and a master of ceremonies. Among Theater To Go’s film sing-alongs are Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Annie and the wildly popular Frozen. This is Theater To Go’s debut presentation of Mamma Mia.
