Thanks from WW-P Scholarship Winner

I am a recipient of the WW-P News scholarship at High School South. Thank you so much for making this scholarship possible. I am extremely honored to receive it.

Education has always been important to me and my family. A college education will open so many doors to my success in the future. I will be majoring in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania this fall. I have thoughts of pursuing a minor or double major in healthcare management as well. In terms of my future career goals, I want to continue to positively impact others as an advanced nurse practitioner.

As a first-generation American and immigrant from South Korea, I never imagined I would be so successful in high school. Attending an academically rigorous school was challenging; nevertheless, I played a role in my school community as the class president, National Honor Society president, peer leader, and even homecoming queen. In my spare time, I volunteer as a cheerleading coach and work as a lifeguard and swim instructor.

Thank you again for generously awarding me the WW-P News Scholarship. Your contribution has made it easier for me and my family to afford a college education. For that, I am truly grateful.
