STAND Thanks You

On February 24, WWP North’s STAND, a student-run organization working to end genocide in Darfur, held Dine for Darfur. The dinner featured Jerry Ehrlich, a member of Doctors Without Borders, Felicity Smith, a High School North senior who visited a village in Nakuru, Kenya, this summer with her church, and Charles Rojer, a holocaust survivor.

Thank you to everyone who made Dine for Darfur a success, with special appreciation to all of North’s STAND members, our speakers, and the restaurants that donated to the event: Little Szechuan, First Wok, Carluccis, Qdoba, It’s a Grind, Indian Hut, Aljons, Romeos, Casa Rosarios, Bagel Street, On the Border, and Hoagie Haven. With your support we raised more than $1,200.
