Smashburger East Windsor grand opening set for Nov. 5

Smashburger, the nation’s fastest-growing “better burger” restaurant, announced today that it will open its East Windsor restaurant on Nov. 5 at 9:30 a.m. East Windsor Mayor Janice Mironov, joined by MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Robert Prunetti and other area business leaders and elected officials, will conduct the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Smashburger has more than 290 corporate and franchise restaurants, operating in 30 states and in five international countries. Known for localizing its menu in every market with regionally inspired burgers, side items and local craft beers, Smashburger has received numerous awards, including topping Fast Casual’s 2012 Top Mover & Shakers list, America’s Most Promising Company by Forbes magazine, INC.’s 500 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies and INC.’s #9 Hire Power Award winner.

Mayor Mironov stated, “We are excited to celebrate the arrival of yet another business here in East Windsor with the opening of the popular and fast-growing Smashburger, recognized by Forbes as one of America’s most promising companies and by Fast Casual as the #1 brand on the ‘Top 100 Movers and Shakers’ list. Smashburger’s decision to open a new restaurant in East Windsor is further affirmation of the attractiveness of the vibrant Route 130 retail corridor.” Mayor Mironov added, “We enthusiastically welcome Smashburger to East Windsor and are excited about the continuing positive business activity and modernized attractive physical improvements at the rejuvenated Windsor Center.”

Smashburger will be located at 440 U.S. Route 130. The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday through Saturday. For more information, visit smashburger.com.
