Registration open for Greater Mercer County Heart Walk

The American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association are set to host the Greater Mercer Heart Walk on Sunday, September 13 at Mercer County Park Marina in West Windsor. Activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. with an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. The official ribbon cutting and Heart Walk start will begin at 10 a.m.

Join thousands in the stand against heart disease and stroke while helping save lives by supporting lifesaving research and education. Activities include health screenings, an interactive Kid’s Zone, CPR demonstrations, exercise demonstrations, nutritional information, a DJ, live entertainment and free giveaways.

The walk is nationally supported by Subway and locally sponsored by Bristol-Myers Squibb, NJM Insurance Group, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and NRG Energy.

The event is free and will take place rain or shine.
