Pennington First Aid Squad seeks volunteers

Pennington First Aid Squad is offering interested volunteers a first hand look at 911 calls.

The squad is inviting area residents interested in volunteering in emergency medical services to ride on 911 calls with them this fall.

Pennington First Aid Squad currently needs new members as the organization’s younger Emergency Medical Technicians are returning to school and college depleting the number of members available to respond, particularly in daytime.

The Observer Program is designed to allow interested persons to experience EMS prior to becoming an EMT.

The squad’s winter EMT class is set to begin Jan. 5 and requires preregistration.

Those interested in being an observer and riding with the squad should contact Julie Aberger at (609) 737-2384.
