NAMI Mercer to hold seventh annual walk

NAMI Mercer is set to hold its seventh annual walk-a-thon on the campus of ETS on May 17 at 9 a.m.

NAMI Mercer, an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is sponsoring the event with the goals of fighting stigma and raising money to support its free programs for individuals and families affected by mental illness.

Several local public leaders will serve as honorary chairs of the event including Lawrence Township Mayor Cathleen Lewis, Assemblyman Dan Benson, Assemblyman Reed Gusciora, Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, Senator Shirley Turner, Assemblyman Jack, Assemblywoman Donna Simon and Senator Kip Bateman.

The walk will also feature a wellness fair as well as complimentary food and music.

ETS is located at 660 Rosedale Road, Princeton.
