Letters: Support for Peter Syrek

Share post:

Mr. Peter Syrek lives next door to me. He has an 8th grader and I have a 9th grader. Not only is Peter a good father, but he also deeply understands the unprecedented challenges our kids are facing: technology is becoming an existential threat to their future life. The widening inequality, the stagnation of income, and other social problems are all correlated to technology. Peter hopes education will meet these challenges and make our kids better prepared. Peter has vision. He is good at building consensus. He is also able to bring people together. And I firmly believe that he will be an excellent candidate for the Board of Education.

I have been a resident in Plainsboro for 21 years and have one kid who already graduated from the WW-P school district and one who is currently in 9th grade. Peter Syrek lives in the same development as I do. I met him during one of the fund raising events, and was able to talk to him and a few of his neighbors.

We are all concerned about the growth of property tax in our township. Because good schools don’t come cheap, we need board members who will spend tax dollars prudently. Peter Syrek objects to lavish spending that does not directly benefit students. Peter will ensure our tax money is well spent, and our schools are well-run.

I hope residents will cast their votes for him, because he is one of us and he cares!
