“Jersey’s Walk for Recovery” set for Sept. 20

Recovery Advocates of America announced that it is hosting its second annual “Jersey’s Walk for Recovery” on Saturday, September 20 at 10 a.m. at the Mercer County Park West Picnic Area in West Windsor.

The event is a 5K walk, celebrating people in recovery and promoting the message that recovery is possible.

The Walk is being held in conjunction with National Recovery Month which is sponsored by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The Walk will be hosted by actor Gary Kimble, a person in long-term recovery from alcoholism. Also at the event will be reality television actor Frank ‘Frankie Stylze’ Sorrentino, Assemblyman Daniel Benson and Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede.

There is a $25 registration fee.
