Help for ‘Miss H’

Share post:

Readers of this paper likely recall Miss H. She is the homeless woman, who for many years spent time in front of the Marshalls in the Windsor Green shopping center on Route 1. Two years ago a few local women, after much effort, arranged an apartment for Miss H. at Luther Towers in Trenton. As they did when Miss H. was homeless, they continue to assist her with trips to the food store and other errands and they provide companionship. So far, so good.

We write to you now as there is an ongoing need to provide for Miss H’s rent ($500 per month). If you remember Miss H. or simply find her situation compelling and you wish to lend support; your donation would be most welcome. Donations of all sizes are needed and welcome. Each “Angel” donation of $500 will provide one month of shelter and is extremely welcome.

Checks may be made payable to Edward Megargee, 21 Towpath Court, Princeton 08540. Inquiries may be made at 609-712-0004 or by E-mail: edmegargee@gmail.com.

All donations will be recorded and available for review.

Edward Megargee

Editor’s note: Megargee is a vice president at a Roszel Road-based firm and has volunteered to coordinate the efforts of those assisting the formerly homeless Miss H.
