Cultural Festival rescheduled to Oct. 19

The annual Mercer County Cultural Festival it rescheduled to Oct. 19.

Heavy rains and high winds forecasted for this weekend are forcing the rescheduling of the festival. A previous rain date set for Sunday has been abandoned because of the forecast.

The annual outdoor festival, which celebrates the cultural diversity of Mercer County through song, dance, arts and ethnic foods, is held on the grounds of Mercer County Park in West Windsor. Forecast models indicate severe weather over the next few days could dump several inches of rain over the region, which would make the fairgrounds difficult to navigate for vendors, performers and visitors.

As a result, the festival will be moved to Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a rain date of Oct. 20.
