County Sheriff’s office contributes to birthday wish

Mercer County Sheriff’s Office helped fufill a birthday with for a boy who has been diagnosed with leukemia for the second time.

In anticpation of his seventh birthday, Tyler Seddon of Pascoag, R.I., asked to receive birthday cards from his favorite heroes: sheriff’s officers, police, and firefighters.

Sheriff Kemler and his officers joined law enforcement from coast-to-coast to help give Seddon a birthday he is never going to forget.

In addition to birthday cards, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office sent Seddon a custom-sized sheriff’s shirt and cap, an embroidered hoodie, official uniform patches, plus commemorative sheriff’s badges.

A Facebook page and account have been set up to keep the community updated on Tyler’s progress and help with donations for his birthday, which was March 6. Well wishes, cards, and gifts for Tyler Seddon can be sent to 96 South Main Street, Pascoag, R.I. 02859.
